Anis Zakari, currently a Machine Learning Engineer at Hymaïa since March 2023, has varied expertise in data engineering and machine learning. He is proficient with tools such as AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK), LangChain, FastAPI, and in deploying predictive analytics solutions to production. Previously, at AxIA as a Data Scientist NLP | Machine Learning Engineer, Anis worked on exploring new machine learning algorithms, mainly in NLP, and applying them to real business use cases. His skills in Python, SQL, TensorFlow, NLP, Spacy and AWS services reflect his technical mastery.
As a Volunteer Data Scientist for Data for Good, Anis contributed to projects aimed at helping people make better food choices using data analysis and machine learning techniques. His volunteer work reflects his passion for putting data science to work for social causes. In addition, his experience as a Data Science Fellow at Jedha Bootcamp allowed him to develop skills in building Flask web applications and deploying deep learning models.
Before fully dedicating himself to data science, Anis gained solid experience as a Sales Engineer at ETAP, where he implemented a sales strategy targeting niche markets, generating a significant increase in order value and customer portfolio. His career path shows his ability to take on varied challenges, from data engineering to sales strategy to web application development. His experience as a Junior Business Developer at USEC also strengthened his project management and business development skills.
