Caroline Chopinaud

Caroline has nearly 20 years of experience in Artificial Intelligence. After earning her PhD in Computer Science, specializing in AI, within the SMA team at LIP6 and in collaboration with Thales, she spent two years teaching AI and Computer Science at the former Paris 6. In 2008, she joined an SME in the Defense and Civil Security sector, where she contributed to developing AI for their training simulator. In 2012, she became head of the innovation unit and led several collaborative projects in France and Europe centered on AI for robotics, serious games and IoT.

In 2015, Caroline co-founded a Deeptech AI startup with former colleagues. Their ambition was to offer a self-learning solution based on a proprietary, explainable ML algorithm, to make it easier to integrate AI into complex systems evolving over time.

At the end of 2020, Caroline joined Hub France IA to strengthen the team and contribute to the association's growth. Today, the association counts more than a hundred provider and user members across France, as well as more than fifty partners throughout Europe.
