Emmanuel Martin-Chave

Emmanuel Martin-Chave is VP AI at DataGuard. He previously was VP Data at BlaBlaCar, the shared-mobility unicorn, where he turned hundreds of millions of daily events into impactful decisions. Under his leadership, the data teams, with 50 experts, had a direct, measurable impact: more than 20% of the company's revenue generated through AI and more than one million euros in annual savings on operating costs, notably through the integration of generative AI.

His commitment goes beyond his corporate roles. Emmanuel is the founder of Modern Data Network, France's first network of data leaders, which today brings together more than 1,000 professionals. This active community organizes conferences, including Forward Data and the AI Product Day (350 attendees), and fosters knowledge sharing. Previously, he built his career internationally, notably at Citigroup in New York, after earning a Master's in Management Science & Engineering from Columbia University. He also holds a degree from the École des Ponts Paristech.
