About Henri Mirande
Henri Mirande is an entrepreneur and technology expert working on the future of 3D animation. He currently holds the position of Co-Founder and CTO at Kinetix.tech, an independent company based in Paris. At Kinetix.tech, Henri and his team are dedicated to turning any 2D video into 3D animation. Their goal is to speed up the animation process and make high-quality animation accessible to any animator at a fraction of the usual cost. They aim to empower the creator community by giving them a tool that makes their work easier and unlocks their creativity.
Before co-founding Kinetix.tech, Henri worked in various areas of technology, including as a Data Scientist at Shift Technology. There, he used machine learning and data processing technologies to help insurance companies automatically detect fraud in insurance claims. Before that, at Dassault Systèmes, he worked in R&D, using deep learning methods to automatically generate a realistic 3D model from multi-view sketches of an object.
Henri also has academic research experience, having worked on a thesis at the University of Essex focused on automatic image recognition using neural networks, particularly transfer learning to automatically detect whether an image contains a crime against humanity, as defined by the UN. This project aimed to help the UN in its monitoring of dangerous areas.
Before that, at Dynamixyz, Henri worked on deep learning techniques aimed at improving the fluidity of video animation for video games or animated films, as well as enabling real-time animation video creation without post-processing from an actor's video footage.
Henri Mirande's diverse experience and expertise in technology, 3D animation and artificial intelligence make him a key player in digital animation and video content transformation.
