Olivier Louis Monnier

Olivier Louis Monnier is currently Group Chief Data & AI Officer at Matmut, where he has led the Data & AI department since April 2021. A member of the leadership team, he is responsible for the company's vision and strategy on data and analytics. Olivier oversees the Data Science Center of Excellence, ensures effective data governance and leads the development of analytical tools and models. He also guides data stewards and local analysts, and applies advanced analytics and AI techniques.

Before joining Matmut, Olivier was Global Head of Data Science & Analytics at Roquette, where he led advanced analytics programs across all of the organization's functions. He made a significant contribution to Roquette's CEO's vision of making the company a data- and digital-driven industry leader. Olivier also worked at HSBC as Head of Data Science & Analytics, where he led data science projects to strengthen the company's predictive models and oversaw a multicultural team of data scientists and business analysts.

Olivier began his career at SCOR, where he held several positions, including Head of Actuarial Tools and Big Data, managing large-scale actuarial and big data projects. He was also responsible for marketing studies at BPCE/Natixis and was a senior statistician at Cofinoga. His rich and varied career gave him deep expertise in business intelligence, change management, communication, performance improvement and value creation through data analytics. A frequent speaker, Olivier shares his knowledge and experience at various international forums.
