Romain Pierlot

Romain Pierlot is a Data Strategist and Project Manager specializing in data platforms, bringing valuable expertise to his projects. Currently at Hymaïa since September 2022, he has led major initiatives for leading players across various sectors.

At Hymaïa, Romain has been responsible for product management within the AI & Digital Factory for a major pharmaceutical player. His work has included defining vision and strategy, as well as setting up operating and delivery models, demonstrating his strategic and operational leadership skills.

Before that, as Practice Manager Data Cloud at JEMS, he led complex cloud migration programs for international companies, overseeing multidisciplinary teams in AWS environments. He also worked on Hadoop-to-GCP migration projects, illustrating his versatility across the cloud ecosystem.

Previously, at Devoteam Revolve as Lead Data & Delivery Manager, Romain led the setup of an agile AWS data lake for a leading social protection provider, coordinating the efforts of several consultants and internal teams. His experience also covers consulting projects for global companies in transportation and logistics, where he advised on optimizing cloud data platforms.

His time at OCTO Technology as Mission Director and consultant also allowed him to develop his expertise in digital transformation consulting, leading a variety of projects for leading clients.

Romain also has earlier experience in project management and quality, notably at BNP Paribas and OTIS France, demonstrating his ability to lead complex initiatives and deliver tangible results.

His main goal is to ensure that the data initiatives he leads bring real added value to organizations and are aligned with their strategic objectives.
