Ruben Benibghi

Ruben currently holds the role of Head of Data at Bpifrance, a position he has held since June 2020. In this role, he defined and implemented a global data strategy, working closely with the Product, Operations, Marketing, Sales and Finance teams. He also built a team of 15 specialists, including data engineers, data analysts and data scientists, and developed a modern data platform using advanced technologies such as Snowflake, Prefect and dbt. Under his leadership, Bpifrance launched product analytics for online banking with Amplitude and optimized data modeling, cutting processing time from three months to a single day.

Before joining Bpifrance, Ruben founded Cyberise.io, which he ran for nearly a year, gaining valuable entrepreneurial experience. He was also a senior data science consultant at Kynapse, providing strategic and technical advice to improve the analytical capabilities of various companies. At Check Point Software Technologies, Ruben developed an innovative product to detect malicious files using machine learning and deep learning techniques.

Ruben began his career at vente-privee, where he implemented deep learning algorithms to generate descriptions from images and machine learning algorithms to predict sales. He was also involved in real-time media campaigns for selected brands. At Allianz Insurance, he built automated processes to improve data quality and ensure compliance with Solvency II. His technical skills include Python, R, SQL, MongoDB, Google BigQuery, as well as the Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure cloud platforms.
