Samuel Leonardo Gracio

Samuel Leonardo Gracio is an experienced machine learning engineer specializing in building advanced recommendation systems. Since July 2023, he has been Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Dailymotion, where he is responsible for the "Perspective" recommendation system. His main duties include designing, developing and deploying large-scale recommendation systems, notably using the Qdrant vector database and sentiment analysis with natural language models such as PaLM and GPT.

Before that, Samuel played a key role in reinventing Dailymotion's recommendation system using the vector database and opinion analysis. His technical skills include Google Cloud Dataflow, Python and Apache Airflow. With more than four years' experience at Dailymotion, Samuel also worked on improving video classification and contributed to deploying a new recommendation system for Dailymotion's mobile app.

He also built solid experience as a junior machine learning engineer, where he developed and deployed a multilingual text classifier for videos, as well as a video classification model using audio and video signals. Samuel Gracio is recognized for his technical expertise, his ability to innovate, and his significant contribution to machine learning at Dailymotion.
