Corentin Vasseur

Corentin Vasseur is a seasoned professional in artificial intelligence (AI) and data management, with extensive experience spanning different aspects of data science. He currently holds the position of AI Innovation & Trust - Responsible AI Manager at Decathlon Digital, where he is responsible for overseeing AI initiatives while ensuring they align with the company's strategic goals. Previously, he was Staff ML Engineer within the same department, where he was responsible for maintaining an overall view of the various AI teams' activities and supporting their technical growth.

Alongside his work at Decathlon Digital, Corentin also teaches part-time at Université de Lille. Since 2019, he has led tutorial and lab sessions for several courses focused on Big Data and machine learning. His responsibilities include introducing Python, as well as teaching supervised and unsupervised learning concepts and advanced techniques such as deep learning.

Before joining Decathlon, Corentin gained valuable experience as Lead Data Scientist at Roquette, where he led end-to-end projects, from initial development through to production deployment. His projects covered a wide range of application areas, from predicting contract consumption rates to pharmaceutical formulation, showing his ability to adapt to varied challenges.

Previously, Corentin also held Data Scientist positions at Leroy Merlin and Crédit Agricole Sud Rhône Alpes, where he worked on predictive modeling and risk management projects. His technical expertise, combined with his ability to communicate effectively and teach, make him a key player in AI and data science, capable of tackling the most complex challenges while sharing his knowledge with others.
